When you shop our new or used cars at Henkel Auto you will see the price clearly displayed on each vehicle. You can browse the lot without a salesperson running back and forth for the price. When dealerships do not openly display the car price, it is often the case that the dealership will be pricing the car based on what they think the customer can pay. Not only is this illegal but it also presents some serious moral issues.
Pricing 99% of our inventory below NADA price is how we have made a successful business model and it insures our customers that they are getting the right price. NADA has been the long trusted source in vehicle pricing because they use previously sold prices to determine current values. There are very few dealers that we know of that have all their inventory priced below NADA.
Having the right price on our entire inventory equates to a high level of purchases and a fresher inventory quicker. Many dealers will hold out for top dollar with a low turnover when selling cars. They simply sell less cars but with a greater profit margin. We abandoned this business model years ago to become a high volume dealer selling everything below book value.
